This five-week class is designed to teach students how to throw a pot on a potter’s wheel. Through instructor demonstrations and hands-on practice, you will learn basic techniques like centering, raising, collaring, trimming, and glazing. Each session focuses on mastering a basic form such as cylinders, bowls, plates, and jars with lids.
-Practice essential pottery wheel techniques: centering, raising, collaring, trimming, and glazing.
-Create four different basic shapes.
-Refine your skills through guided practice and individual feedback.
