Artist Membership
All Artist Members enjoy these core benefits:

Gallery Display Space: Year-round opportunity to display approved artwork in The Guild gallery (rotation schedule may apply).

Member-Only Exhibitions: Participate in exclusive shows and special events for juried members.

Online Artist Profile: Feature your bio, photo, and artwork on The Guild website and social media (upon submission).

Marketing & Promotion: Be included in Guild marketing campaigns, newsletters, and community outreach.

Teaching Opportunities: Eligible to apply for teaching classes and workshops through The Guild.

There are 2 types of Artist Members:
Contributing Artist - Annual Fee: $60

Ideal for artists who want to play an active role in The Guild’s operations and community life.

In addition to the standard Displaying Artist benefits, Contributing Artist Members receive:

Year-Round Gallery Access: Exhibit your artwork all year, earning a 70% commission on sales.

Volunteer Commitment: Contributing Artist Members are required to contribute a minimum of 4 volunteer hours per month (tracked quarterly) in support of The Guild. This flexible structure allows members to contribute in ways that align with their skills and interests, while helping sustain our artist-driven community.

Independent Artist - Annual Fee: $75

Designed for artists who wish to exhibit but are unable to commit volunteer time.

Year-Round Gallery Access: Exhibit your artwork year-round with a 50% commission on sales.

All Artist members agree to have a current W-9 form on file with the Treasurer prior to receiving any earned commission payments. Members needing to complete a new or updated W-9 may pick up a copy at the Visual Arts Center or download one from https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/fw9.pdf
Academic Student - Annual Fee $30
For students in academic institutions looking to grow in the visual arts, this discounted membership offers tailored benefits and exhibition opportunities.

Students may apply to display and sell artwork upon successful jury approval. (Parental permission required for members under 18.)

Patron of the Guild Membership - Annual Fee $30
For those who are passionate about the arts but not currently exhibiting, the Patron of the Guild Membership offers a meaningful way to stay involved and connected with The Guild’s creative community.

This membership is ideal for art enthusiasts, educators, and supporters who want to be part of The Guild’s mission without exhibiting their own artwork.

Membership Terms & Expectations

Membership dues support The Guild’s administration, marketing, gallery operations, website management, and member event coordination.

Commission on sales helps fund essential expenses such as staffing, utilities, and gallery maintenance.

Members must remain in good standing to retain displaying privileges.

Membership fees are non-refundable and valid for one year from the date of payment.

All displaying artists are required to adhere to Guild policies and display guidelines.

The Guild Board reserves the right to review and adjust membership tiers, rates, and benefits annually.

Members are encouraged to contribute volunteer hours or participate in Guild operations to support our shared mission.
