Community Outreach, Marketing & Content Support

Help The Guild grow by spreading awareness and strengthening community connections through:
 

• Community outreach and local engagement

• Distributing and posting flyers in local businesses, community spaces, and public bulletin boards

• Marketing and promotional efforts

• Social media content and online visibility

• Photography for events, classes, artist work, and website use

• Business partnerships, sponsorship outreach, and relationship building

 

Event & Fundraising Support

Volunteers play an essential role in helping The Guild raise support and create successful events through:
 

• Event setup and breakdown

• Exhibit receptions

• Fundraising events

• Guest support

• Procuring donations, sponsorships, raffle items, and silent auction contributions from local businesses and community supporters

• Special projects and community programs

 

Gallery Preparation, Docents & Administrative Support

Support the daily operations and visitor experience of The Guild through:
 

• Gallery Docent:
  Docents are often the first friendly face visitors meet when they walk into The Guild Gallery on Main Street. Docents welcome guests, assist visitors, support gallery operations, and help create a positive and engaging experience. Training is available for all new docents.

• Docent Coordinator:
  The Docent Coordinator manages monthly scheduling for docent shifts and helps support and train new volunteers.

• Gallery & Administrative Support

  • Preparing gallery spaces and displays

  • Exhibit setup assistance

  • Administrative and organizational help

  • Membership or office support

 

Cleaning, Handyman & Building Care

Help us maintain, improve, and grow a welcoming and functional environment by assisting with:
 

• Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping studio floors

• Dusting gallery spaces

• Bathroom upkeep

• General cleaning

• Handyman and maintenance projects

• Building shelving, storage solutions, and functional improvements

• Constructing and installing art displays, gallery fixtures, and exhibit enhancements

 

Committees

Volunteers can also serve through committee work in key areas such as:
 

• Membership

• Events

• Marketing

• 2D/3D Jury

• Committee participants and chairs help guide Guild programs, events, and growth.

 

Board Leadership

As a nonprofit organization, The Guild is governed by a Board of Directors. Members interested in deeper leadership opportunities may serve on the board or in officer positions. Annual leadership roles include:

• These positions help shape the future of The Guild and strengthen its impact in the community.
