Sheila Allen

Sheila and her husband moved to Rutherford County in 2022 moving here from Washington State where she had lived her entire life.She truly loves the area, and loves both the community and people. Having done some pottery many years ago, she jumped into the classes held here at the Guild, learning a variety of techniques. Preferring hand building pottery over wheel work, she is working on developing her own style, and often lets the clay speak to her. She is active in breeding and showing dogs and has done that for over 50 years, and is an AKC Judge. Other hobbies include Sewing, Jewelry Making, and a wide variety of crafts. She continues to work at the Guild Studio and finds it one of her favorite times.
