Meet Our Artists

Tom Phelps
Photography
My art genre is primarily nature photography. I started taking pictures as a child and even learned to develop and print photos in a basement darkroom. I learned to actually use a camera after I retired. My photographs reflect my fascination with the often ephemeral interplay I see between light, color, line, and texture.

Rick Tobey
Photography & Pottery
I began my journey in photography as a teenager in the 1960s, learning to develop negatives and create prints the old-fashioned way in my own darkroom. Beyond the visual arts, music has been another lifelong passion. Today, I continue performing locally and regionally with my band, Ricky T and the Rockets, while pursuing my love of photography and the arts.

Bobby Pitts
Pottery
In 2014, my husband and I bought an RV, spent eight years traveling across our beautiful country, before settling in North Carolina, where we built our home. I discovered pottery about ten years ago, which soon became a passion. Under the mentorship of my instructor, Amanda, I continue to grow as an artist.

Charlie King
Multimedia
My name is Charlie King, and I am a multimedia artist from Greenville, South Carolina! I'm 26, and have been making art since I could hold a pencil. One of my greatest inspirations is my mother, who is a very talented artist in various media. I've been in Rutherford county for 7 years now and totally love North Carolina, it now inspires so much of my work

Rob Woodbridge
Wood
Growing up in the Adirondacks, I was surrounded by the rugged beauty of the mountains and the rustic lifestyle that shaped my love for natural materials. I began working with wood at a young age, learning to see character and possibility in every grain. I create one‑of‑a‑kind rustic wooden lamps that reflect the landscapes and traditions that have inspired me since childhood.
