About the event
*Designed for experienced potters and graduates of our Introduction to Pottery class.
This class offers a balanced approach to pottery, combining the foundational techniques of wheel-throwing and handbuilding. Students will learn how to shape and refine both functional and sculptural pieces using the pottery wheel, while also exploring the versatility of handbuilding for creating unique forms and textures. Emphasis will be placed on developing a strong understanding of clay properties, basic construction techniques, and surface decoration.
Whether you're new to pottery or looking to expand your skills, this class provides a supportive environment to experiment and grow your craft.
Please note all clay used at the studio must be purchased through The Guild at $35 for 25lbs.
