About the event
Class dates: May 25th, June 1, 8, 15, 22nd (June 29th, if needed)
This is a five-week beginner class focusing on pottery hand building techniques only. Students will learn how to work with clay from the ground up, exploring multiple construction methods while creating functional ceramic pieces in a relaxed, supportive environment.
-Learn essential hand building techniques including pinch, slab and mold construction.
-Create functional ceramic pieces through guided, hands-on practice.
-Glaze finished work and complete 3-4 pieces, depending on the pace and kiln schedule.
