Help Us Celebrate 25 Years — One Canvas at a Time

Twenty-five years of creativity, connection, and community deserve a celebration as unique as the artists who have helped shape The Guild.

As part of our 25th Anniversary celebration, the Rutherford County Visual Artists Guild is inviting artists and a limited number of community participants to take part in a special collaborative art installation that will be featured during our anniversary events.

The concept is simple:

🎨 50 Canvases 🎨 50 Artists 🎨 50 Unique Expressions of Creativity

Each participant will receive an 8x8 canvas provided by The Guild and will be invited to create an original work of art. There is no required theme, medium, or style. Your piece might celebrate creativity and community, reflect on what art means to you, honor The Guild's 25-year history, or simply become an opportunity to experiment and create something joyful.

There is no "right" approach, only your own.

How to Participate

Blank 8x8 canvases will be available for pickup at The Guild beginning June 5 and continuing through June 27 while supplies last.

Completed artwork should be returned to The Guild by August 21.

To help ensure a cohesive display, we ask that all artwork remain within the provided 8x8 canvas format. Additional submission details and labeling information will be provided when canvases are distributed.

Why We're Doing This

For twenty-five years, The Guild has been shaped by the creativity, generosity, and passion of artists throughout our community. This collaborative installation is an opportunity to celebrate those voices together.

Our hope is to create a visual representation of the creativity, diversity, and spirit that have made The Guild what it is today. Every canvas will tell a different story, but together they will form a collective portrait of our artistic community.

Whether your work is bold, quiet, whimsical, abstract, heartfelt, experimental, or deeply personal, we would be honored to include your contribution in this special anniversary project.
